The Drop In Centre offers support services for mental and physical health issues, addiction or substance abuse, and counselling. We provide a complex-capable approach to healthcare.
We have invited select community partners to join The Drop In Centre, in order to provide improved services to the people who come through our doors. These partners can be found upstairs on the second level of The Drop In Centre.
Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)
The CMHA offers a variety of services for individuals struggling with mental health issues, medical issues, or legal issues.
- Outreach Worker – Provides mental health support to individuals that are struggling with mental health issues.
- Seniors Worker – Provides support to seniors that struggle with complex medical issues.
- Court Support Worker – Provides support to individuals that have a mental health issue and are involved in the Criminal Justice System.
- Mental Health Support – Mental health clinic every Thursday from 9am-12pm offering a range of mental health support for adults and seniors.
Specialized Outreach Services (SOS)
This team is funded by the Stonehenge Therapeutic Community, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and the Guelph Community Health Centre (GCHC)
Three support workers and nursing staff support individuals over 18 years old that are disconnected from services, homeless (or at risk of being homeless), and living with mental health, addiction, or medical issues.

Housing First Team
Three Housing First Coordinators who work with the chronically homeless population that have been selected from the by name list provided through the 20K homes campaign.
They have a closed case load however to become part of the Housing First program please come to the Drop In and complete a VI SPDAT to get your name on the by name list.
We are a door agency for the 20K homes campaign and any of our staff at the Drop In Centre would love to help you complete this short survey.
Ontario Hearing Society (OHS)
Staff from OHS provide support to individuals that have hearing loss or deafness.
Criminal Lawyer — John Kieffer
John Kieffer has his office at The Drop In Centre and represents individuals in the community that have been charged with a criminal offence.
Other Support Groups
We have 3 Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Groups that run out of The Drop In Centre each week.
We have 1 Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Group that runs out of The Drop In Centre 3 times a week.
Family Counselling Support Services (FCSS) runs a group out of the Drop In Centre
A Veterinary Health Clinic runs twice a year to provide care to pets (and their humans) that are homeless or precariously housed.
